I tend to paint directly from my imagination, creating images that spark a sense of realization to the viewer–comparable to a Japanese Haiku. Self-taught and strongly influenced by folk and outsider art, I paint on found wood and canvas incorporating found objects into the work, keeping the imagery raw with a naive quality.
