Product Information

Throughout my life I’ve been somewhat obsessed with connections – why things we see are often simultaneously foreign and familiar. I am as well curious about ornament and content in subject matter. Currently I am making pieces that are individually either abstract or illustrated. In my jewelry I use resin, images, semi precious stones and sterling silver. I like to think that in the simplicity of the color and design people can find themselves possible thinking of a cell, a flower, bubble gum or a cross without necessarily being shown any of these things. And when they are shown one of these things as in my image pieces, they images is so clinically driven that the emotion lies only within the viewer, I’ve found that there’s an abundance of content in color, simple forms, patterns and materials. Somehow in the simplicity of each piece, a store unfolds and the meaning becomes out own.
