My new still life series is taken with a Canon D5 using a 50mm lens.  I used the 50mm lens for this series because I wanted a very direct, clean look to these images with no distortion.  I wanted these photos to confuse viewers a little by being technically excellent photos but having a fine art painterly look.  Actually, these still life flower/fruit photos began with me wanting to make photos I liked for my own kitchen/dining areas.   I live out in the country on a old divided ranch outside of Mountainair, New Mexico and I’m continuing this series with the continuous new desert blooms.

These fine art prints represent the finest balance between workmanship, archival paper and dye permanence that is available today.  These prints are made with Ultra Chrome Inks on Lumijet Museum Parchment paper.
